About Us

Our Mission

The mission of Heartland Education Reformation Organization (HERO) is to form partnerships between churches and Christian educators in order to have a greater impact with families in their congregation and community.  Their joint efforts will help to reform education by launching and supporting innovative Christian schools, (or Creative Christian Learning Environments, CCLEs) as an alternative to public education.

HERO is a project of Heartland Christian Ministries Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering churches to transform communities through faith-based education.

Our Name

Network

HERO provides the necessary resources and connections for those who want to start or support a CCLE.  Our network is comprised of pastors, congregations, community leaders, concerned parents, donors, or any Christian who is ready to serve on the mission field of education in their own local community.

Impact

HERO serves Christian educators and their supporting churches so that they can provide high quality faith-based educational models as alternatives for families in their congregation and community.

Value

Families are desperate for alternatives to public school and are seeking school options that align with their faith and values.  Many families cannot homeschool full time and cannot afford traditional, costly private Christian schools.  So what is a family to do?

The HERO network offers the alternatives that families are looking for.  By launching and supporting smaller, more simplified or hybrid school models (Creative Christian Learning Environments, CCLE), HERO provides the solution for families who want to flee from toxic environments and the government’s agenda and see their children flourish in a faith-filled, Christian environment.
