A Season of Thanksgiving
It’s a season of thanksgiving and celebration. As we continue gathering votes for Pastor of the Year and prepare to announce the winner in December, we want to pause and simply say thank you. Your prayers, encouragement, and support have strengthened HERO in countless ways this year, and we are truly grateful. Most of all, we give thanks to God for His goodness, His provision, and the ways He has used this community to bless students, families, and schools across the Heartland.
What God Has Done Through Your Support
In just the last eight months, HERO awarded over $100,000 in matching scholarship funds to students and schools in need. This remarkable milestone was made possible by generous donors and supporters like you. By God’s grace, here’s what we were able to accomplish together:

11 students received scholarships during the 2025 HERO Film Premiere — $14,900 awarded

40 students received the HERO Matching Scholarship for 2025–2026 — $56,728 awarded

51 students received HERO Financial Hardship Scholarships for 2024–2025 — $30,550 awarded
Every one of these numbers represents a child whose life was touched, a family whose burden was lifted, and a school strengthened through your partnership.
The Need Continues
​However, as the needs continue to grow, our scholarship funds have now run dry.
Many more families are still praying for help—parents who deeply desire a solid Christian education for their children but are limited financially.
In this season of gratitude, we invite you to prayerfully consider donating to the HERO Scholarship Fund.
Every penny given goes directly to student scholarships.
As Scripture reminds us, “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord” (Psalm 78:4). We are entrusted with the discipleship of the next generation, and when the Church works together, God multiplies our impact in beautiful ways.
