HERO Matching Scholarship Application Details

Total Funds Available: $100,000 (2025–2026 school year)

Scholarships are available to any student enrolled in a HERO school who has a church sponsor pledge (no need to be a member of the church).

HERO matches 50/50—doubling every church's pledge.

Scholarships cover up to 75% of tuition; families cover the remaining amount (minimum 25%).

Pledge Range: $500–$5,000

Max Award: 5 scholarships ($25,000) per church/school.

Funds go directly to the HERO school.
Churches are encouraged (but not required) to prioritize low-income or first-time Christian school students.

Who Can Apply
HERO Schools
Founder, administrator, or teacher may apply for funding for their school and distribute scholarships as they see fit.
Families
Any family member may request and submit an application.

Let’s say the student’s total tuition is $4,000.

The HERO Scholarship Fund
The HERO Project has started a scholarship fund to help more people access high-quality Christian education.
We have over $100,000 available in matching grant funds to go towards tuition at a HERO partner school! We encourage families to apply as they consider attendance at one of our HERO schools.
